The question you should be asking yourself is “why do I want to get it authenticated” as that is more relevant.

So you have been to a convention with possibly thousands of others and had some names added to your poster. Did you get any photos of them signing? have you made notes of who signed and when etc? If you did both of these then why do you need someone else to confirm to you that your signatures are authentic? This process could easily cost you more than you paid out for the signatures in the first place, and will add little to their value anyway.

If you intend to sell the item on at a later date then make sure that those photos you took, together with the details of the event including the tickets etc, are kept with the item, as this will certainly help its value at a later date, and help show any potential buyer that you really did get those signatures yourself.

Paying a third party to “authenticate” signatures that you obtained yourself in person is a fools game, and will teach you nothing and cost you plenty. Far better to learn from the pro’s and keep proper records of when and were etc which will be far more useful in 20 years time when you have forgotten those details yourself!
