Spread across four rooms The Uptown Vinyl Records shop offers a huge range of stock, we have around 200,000+ vinyl records available, along with 25,000+ CDs. We believe we’re the largest independent vinyl record shop in the UK, if you know anywhere bigger please let us know!

We’re also unusual in that 99.9% of our stock is genuine vintage – we have only a small amount of new sealed modern vinyl pressings. We also have collections of other formats such as cassette and 8-track, music memorabilia, books and more.

The advantage of having such a large space is that we can devote more space to genres that others shops can’t afford to give room to such as Country and Classical.
