Soundclash is one of the last original Independent record shops in East Anglia opened in February 1991 as a essential continuation from legendary Backs Records over in Swan Lane as they continued as global independent distributors with Rough Trade and the national Cartel Collective.

Independent record shops have been increasingly challenged from all sides which is why so many have gone out of business – a big thank you to all the loyal customers who understood that they needed to use us or lose us!
