Autographs.co.uk has been active in the autograph and signed memorabilia industry since the late 1980s, with the launch of the Autographs.co.uk website in 1998. Over the decades, we have built a reputation for integrity, expertise, and a commitment to offering authentic signed memorabilia.
Our inventory is sourced through a variety of trusted channels, including in-person celebrity signings, private signing sessions, leading auction houses, established dealer networks, and first-hand acquisitions. We also work closely with a number of respected Universal Autograph Collectors Club (UACC) and RACC Trusted Sellers and Collector Approved dealers, ensuring that every item is acquired from reliable and reputable sources.
Our collection includes more than 6,000 authenticated autographs and signed collectibles, with new acquisitions added regularly. These range from signed photographs and documents to handwritten letters, manuscripts, books, records, and historical memorabilia. Over the years, we have handled material from some of the world's most celebrated figures, including Muhammad Ali, The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, The Rolling Stones, Winston Churchill, David Hockney, David Bowie, Queen, Elvis Presley, Fidel Castro, and many others from the worlds of entertainment, politics, sport, literature, and history.
Autographs.co.uk is led by Garry King, who has spent decades researching, buying, selling, and authenticating autographs. Garry is regularly consulted by television and radio productions for his expertise and has appeared on programmes including The One Show, Fake Britain, Inside Out, The Real Hustle, Posh Pawnbrokers, Posh Pawn, Pawn Stars UK, Expert Witness, and Channel 4's Millionaire Hoarders. His specialist knowledge has also assisted the police and Trading Standards in investigations involving forged autographs, contributing to a number of successful prosecutions.
In addition to supplying authenticated memorabilia, Garry provides autograph authentication services to auction houses throughout the UK and operates the well-established Quick Opinion service, which has been helping collectors, dealers, and auctioneers assess autographs for more than a decade.
Education has always been a central part of our work. Through our extensive Guides and Blog, we publish in-depth articles designed to help collectors make informed decisions. Topics include autograph authentication, collecting advice, preservation and storage, recognising Autopen signatures, identifying printed facsimiles, and detailed studies of the signatures of figures such as Muhammad Ali and Winston Churchill. Whether you are an experienced collector or just starting your journey, our aim is to provide reliable, independent information based on decades of practical experience.
